Lisa’s story

On Halloween, Christian families from across South Leicester came together to transform their neighbourhoods into a vibrant Trail of Light. Using a digital map, hundreds of neighbours, friends, and families explored a trail of brightly decorated homes, each sharing a message of hope. Along the way, volunteers handed out sweets, chocolates, glow sticks with Bible verses, hot chocolate, and hot dogs. The church threw open its doors for an exciting Light Party packed with music, games, balloons, bubbles, disco lights, and laughter. With over 100 people joining in, the evening created countless opportunities for people to hear the Gospel, encounter Christian community, and experience the love, joy, and welcome of Jesus firsthand.
