Pray for the night
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6v12 NIV)
Prayer
A key way of being involved is to pray in the lead up to and on Halloween.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8 v12 NIV). He doesn’t want us to be stumbling in the darkness but to be walking in the light with Him.
Why not include prayer for your community this Halloween in your private prayer time, in your small group or church prayer meetings.

Lord Jesus, light of the world, many people hide in the shadows from you and even celebrate the darkness. May your church arise and shine this Halloween so that people will experience something of your goodness and be hungry to find out more. Amen.
