Pumpkin Trail in your community
The Pumpkin Trail at St Lawrence’s Church in Lechlade was started as a way of engaging the village community at Halloween.
Local families, schools and church members create fun and creative pumpkin displays, which are placed around the village for children and families to discover on Halloween.
The trail is designed around light, joy and generosity, with pumpkins ranging from animals and miniature worlds to Christian-themed designs.
The church is also open on Halloween, offering popcorn, hot chocolate and sweets, alongside a Christian story and light-themed craft.
The trail provides a fun way for the whole community to enjoy Halloween together, while creating opportunities to build relationships, share the Christian message and point families towards Jesus, the light of the world.
