Light Beacons

Light Beacons vision is to offer an alternative to Halloween; to redeem the 31st of October.

​We go to where people are on Halloween (e.g. a local park on a housing estate) and engage with people who are out ‘trick or treating’.

We set up gazebos and light them up.  We give out loads of glow bracelets and welcome people with a ‘treat’ — hot chocolate and hot dogs. We offer a light-themed children’s craft activity, and an encounter tent, where we offer a listening ear and prayer.

And the people we meet love what we are doing.
