Houses of Light

A House of Light is a home that chooses to leave the light on at Halloween - welcoming neighbours with light, laughter and hope.

Rather than retreating from Halloween, House of Light invites Christians to use the evening as an opportunity to welcome trick-or-treaters, build friendships and share something of the goodness, beauty and truth of Jesus.

It can be as simple as decorating your home, giving out sweets, serving hot chocolate, playing games, sharing a story or starting a conversation about faith.

The invitation is simple:

Don’t retreat. Don’t hide your light. Open the door. Let your light shine.

Become a House of Light this Halloween.
